Visual Project Management (VPM) is a Simplified Critical Chain Project Management Mobile App that allow a whole organization to manage all their projects and resources with just a click of the button.

VPM makes Multi-Project Management easy. It just takes one click. All a person has to do is report an active task completed and VPM updates and displays the status of that project along with the status of all the other projects. And, VPM tells managers if the resource skills and individuals are over-loaded or need additional work. It s so easy and so visible that everyone can agree on what is the most important work for the whole organization—almost magic!

VPM draws from the best project management tools drawn from PERT/CPM, Lean, Six Sigma and the Theory of Constraints and simplifies them to manage all your projects and resources in the cloud using just an iPhone.

The project is a list of things to do. There may be firm predecessor task for some activities. There may even be sub-projects, which are predecessors to a task. A Project Plan is a list of tasks (with any firm predecessors) with aggressive estimated task durations. For organizations with repeat projects (projects that do similar work with only minor variations from one time to the next), they can make “Project Templates” by duplicating projects In Planning and editing the duplicate before executing it.

During execution (In Progress), when tasks are completed, VPM plots the status of the project on the Fever Chart (the RED/GREEN chart) for everyone in the organization to see. Both Single Project and Multi Project views are shown.

VPM also displays the workload for skills to assign managers to control the amount of work currently In Progress. Completed projects are maintained in the Archive where they can be reviewed for improvement purposes.
